I fell in love with The Cleveland Show since it’s premier. The smart, collected, spontaneous, and surprising Cleveland is wonderful. I adore Cleveland Junior. His perplexed, tranced out, and scared look. is enough to make anyone laugh.
In this episode Cleveland sets out to make sure his step daughter, Roberta, stays a virgin. He takes them to church, where the pastor is speaking about all the evils of teen sex. Many of the daughters, with the exception of Roberta, makes their virginity their fathers responsibility. Cleveland’s son pledged his virginity to his father as well, which may for great jokes.
Cleveland propositions Roberta’s boyfriend to help his son get laid which leads to a very hilarious rap video of sorts with Cleveland. When Cleveland Junior begins getting lessons the first thing he does is mess up. He gets slapped by Federline for messing up. When this happens the single most funny and memorable part of the show happens. Cleveland Junior says “I may still be a virgin” then pulls him by his collar and continues ”but if you do that again I’ll kick your ass.” In a very serious and threatening tone. I laughed so much I cried and had to gasp for air.
Overall, absolutely great episode. I was very happy, especially after watching that sub par Family Guy episode. A 9.5 out of 10.
